Was very convenient, and the facilities that were provided (dishwasher, etc) were sufficient for my 3 night stay
There wasn't a washing machine or dryer in the apartment even though the information booklet said there was a dryer provided. I would've liked to wash my clothes during my stay, but other than that it was good
The reception staff was excellent - so helpful and accommodating. The apartment was well-equiped and comfortable. Location near the Victoria Markets and only a few blocks in the other direction from Bourke Street shopping, was excellent! Some good eating places nearby - with Lygon St and Chinatown, etc close by as well.
It is not made clear that the apartment is only serviced weekly. 1 face washer and 1 hand towel are not enough for 2 people - particularly when towels are not changed - nor is there an opportunity to get more. Shower leaked to outside floor - but the leakage didn't drain, impossible to wipe up without extra towels. Light on in lounge area lights up the bedroom as well. No telephone in the room - and reception staff is available for limited hours. Just a little more clarity regarding the available facilities would help.
It is a very location and close to everything. And the room size are good as well.
The isolation is not good. I stayed in the room 518 one night, it's so noisy, I can not sleep well.
The staff were courteous & helpful on arrival. Room & facilities were clean , neat & tidy, compact but sufficient room for a couple. Security was good & apartment was close to cbd, transport, food outlets & easy to find.
No power point for electric jug in kitchen area.
Please provide free WIFI for hotel guest.
Easy walking distance to the Vic. Market, Myers, David Jones and many restaurants. Secure accomodation. Free tram close by to take you around town.
Not enough room on one side of the bed to get in and out of, and further obstructed by a heater on that wall.
Very close to the city, shopping, vic markets & trams right at the door. Very clean as well.
We booked a 1 br apartment, so I expected to have a seperate room for the bedroom but it was only divided by a folding partition. We had a baby with us so it was a bit hard to block the noise & light out when she went to bed.
The location of this hotel is very handy to the main shopping area & Victoria markets. It is also very clean.
The room that we stayed in were more than we expected for our price for one night, best value, best room
The street noise which was on contraction across the road
That it was close to the cbd, and walking distances from many points of interest, and transport, I also liked that the reception was next door, and open later as in 9pm (not that we needed to use the services, but was helpful if we did). Also it appeared clean and orderly.
I didn't like the sewage type smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, I could see an attachment for the hairdryer sitting in between the washer/dryer, along with someones blue afro comb, also. The vacume cleaner was full of dust, from the previous occupants? There were no instructions for the aircon? And it was extremely noisy when going and could be positioned more effectively It needed to be at least half way up the wall, not at bed height?.Also the plug for the jug was not easily located up under the extractor fan, a bracket on the wall instead of a double plug would have been more user friendly.
Norhing read below, we had issue after issue and the management were not only rude and did nothing but we were told we were getting a full refund as we only stayed for the one out of three nights yet when leaving only receiving a part refund this place is unsafe for children the rooms are a mess and the health and safety department needs to inspect this so called hotel
We are only a young family who were on our first family holiday with our 3month old girl and 2 year old boy, when we checked in the room they gave us was still dirty (bread crumbs, dirty marks in kitchen, too Not even set up for new guests from last guests). We then we're moved to another room where our fridge was broken, the jug was broken( couldn't boil water for baby formula) we then put a load of the kids clothes on a wash and water came leaking out of the bottom of the machine all over the floor, the airconditioning broke later that night and all this just he's after checking in. We called reception they said they couldn't do anything about it, I then called and emailed there after hrs contacts and nothing could be done for us, we couldn't believe what had happen and was concerned for the health and safety of our children, the following day I received a call that I had requested for by a lady named sue the apparent manager, who was rude short and didn't have any customer service skills, she had no care for me and my family regarding the breakage of their basic hotel utilities, I told them we wanted a full refund and that we would stay else where which was agreed yet on arriving back to hotel to collect bags and refund as agreed I received only a partial refund which made me furious, this hotel and it's standards are a joke and my partner and I strongly suggest not to stay here, we have told everyone we know to stay away from the health and safety hazardous city edge hotel group and please we suggest you spread the word KEEP AWAY DON'T STAY
The location is excellent as its near to QVM. The room is very clean, the bed is comfortable and there is washing maching and cooking facilities so its easier for us to cook meals for family. We will definately stay there next time.
Would be an added advantage if they provide free wifi in the room
Convenient to all areas of Melbourne due to the proximity to trams, trains and buses.
I was expecting something like the photo in the advertisement. I was expecting a one bedroom apartment. I was not expecting a small room with sliding doors to shut off the bed. I was expecting that my Husband and I would have the basic bedside table each. I was not expecting to be squashed up against a wall. I expected a toilet roll holder that held toilet paper. I was not expecting the bathroom floor to be flooded due to the shower leaking and the water running towards the door not the drain. I expect a clean doona cover or a clean bedspread.
Was very comfortable. Pull out sofa was good for third person. Rooms were larger than I expected them to be and great cooking area and even a washing mashine in bathroom. Great for extended stay and only across the road from Central station.
The location was great. The balcony was lovely and the room was adequate
The size of the bathroom sink was to big and it was hard to put your toilet bag in a sensible position and it wastes water to fill the sink just for a wash. No plug insitu
